Cinnamon Roll As Midnight Snack

Berto and I are still up, getting ready for tomorrow's event. We have a birthday/christening event to cover tomorrow and I am putting last minute adjustments for our photobooth layout. Hubby had the craving for something sweet to eat. Good thing we bought some cinnamon rolls in Red Ribbon Bakeshop. So I popped one roll in the microwave then slathered on some butter (bad, I know!). Haha...

Berto requested for some coffee too to complete the cafe experience right in our dining room. Cinnamon rolls and 3-in-1 instant coffee, perfect midnight snack with the perfect company =)

Halloween 2012

Last October 28, Berto, B, N and I went to The Podium for our annual Trick or Treat. We used to go to Megamall for the halloween festivities, but we there were just too many people! Thank goodness, N suggested we try The Podium last year. There were less kids and more shops that give out candies and other goodies.

This year there was a slight change of policy, participants needed to present accumulated receipts amounting to P1,500. We needed receipts, so we decided to have our lunch in Cafe de Bonifacio. It is a local restaurant that boasts of Filipino cuisine at its best.

We had Kare-kare, Sisig and Sinigang na Baka (sorry no picture). Everything was delicious! The little one liked the Kare-kare. We asked for more peanut sauce but they didn't have any available since they cooked the dishes on a per order basis. Oh well. Our bill totaled to P1,100. I then bought some stuff from Watson's also located inside the mall. Once we got the receipt, Berto helped B register, then we were good to go. Kids were given a list of shops to visit and some stubs for activities for added Halloween fun! Activities included face painting, balloon twisting, photo op, raffles and even free ice cream.

This is the first shop we visited, the Power Mac Center, too bad they weren't giving away Ipads as treats =(

Here's B enjoying the pink elephant painted on her arm. By the way, she dressed up as a little Egyptian Princess. Thanks for the pretty costume Lola S! =)

Thanks daddy Berto for the wonderful pictures. I think he's the one who had the most fun that day, he got to play with his newest toy, the Canon 50mm 1:1.4 lens. =)

It was a day of fun fun fun! I forgot to take a picture of the little girl's loot for the day. Let's just say her pumpkin was filled to the brim. Even her nanny got her own share of treats!
